Nikka From The Barrel, first released in 1985, is a bold Japanese blended whisky crafted to deliver the richness and intensity of whisky straight from the cask. Bottled at 51.4% ABV, it combines single malts from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries with Miyagikyo grain whisky. The blend is then returned to casks to “marry,” allowing the flavours to integrate and deepen. Presented in its iconic square bottle, the whisky offers a balanced nose of fresh fruit, floral notes, spice and light oak. The palate is full-bodied with winter spice, toffee, caramel, vanilla and ripe fruit, finishing long, warm and gently oaked.
