The three men in the Tub are Kevin, Jacques and Raymond as they say, “what goes on in the tub stays in the Tub.”
And the Duck is not quacking!!
Old World meets New World in this classic red blend. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and sometimes Mourvèdre sourced from the coastal region of the South African Winelands seamlessly blend to create this playful blend called Three Men in a Tub with a Rubber Duck.
Tasting Notes
Drink chilled. Or don’t. Just drink it. This is not your grandfather’s Bordeaux blend—unless your grandfather was a vinyl-collecting jazz freak who rode motorbikes and grilled lamb chops in a leather apron. This vintage of Three Men in a Tub is a mischievous mash-up of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot (and maybe a little something else we won’t name-drop). It opens with ripe red berries, blackcurrant, and a hit of spice, like someone left a fruit basket on a leather couch and poured you a glass to celebrate. There’s a lush mid-palate, silky tannins, and just enough grip to remind you this isn’t a novelty act—it’s a damn good wine with structure. But let’s be honest: the best part is that it doesn’t take itself too seriously. This is wine for Thursday braais, long playlists, shared laughter, and loud debates about whether the duck’s name is Carl or Eugene. Pair it with whatever’s in the fridge. Serve it blind and watch your wine-snob friends guess three times and still get it wrong. Unpretentious. Unapologetic. Unexpected.
